Welcome to the 3rd Mediterranean FUE Workshop hosted and organized by Drs. Koray Erdogan, Jose Lorenzo and Alex Ginzburg. The aim of this workshop, to be held in the AsMed Clinic in Istanbul, is to focus on the complementary approaches of FUE techniques through live surgical procedures.

Educational workshop on Thursday June 25th, Friday June 26th and Saturday June 27th including lectures and surgical observation, hand-out materials, coffee breaks, buffet lunches, Welcome Reception on Thursday evening poolside at the Istanbul Radisson Blu Hotel Asia with light hors d’oeuvres and a selection of local drinks, Gala Dinner on Friday evening at the magnificent historical Adile Sultan Palace in Kandilli (Istanbul) with cocktails on the terrace overlooking the sea and dinner in the exquisite banquet hall, Bosphorus Cruise at sunset on Saturday evening and transportation to/from the clinic and hotel.


Spouse/guest(s) may join the three evening functions Welcome Reception on Thursday evening(complimentary), Gala Dinner on Friday evening (150,00 Euros)and Bosphorus Cruise on Saturday evening (105,00 Euros).

Route from the Airport

From Atatürk Airport

Head southwest on Atatürk Havaalanı Yolcu Girişi and continue bearing slightly left until reaching Atatürk Havalimanı Caddesi, then bear right. Follow Atatürk Havalimani Yolcu Caddesi to the E80 turnoff. Take the E80 to the O1-O2 Çamlıca Bağlantısı Yanyolu connection and follow it exiting at the Kozyatagi O2 connection. Turn left onto Halk Street and then left onto Karaman Street. Turn right on Meric Street and then right from Meric Street onto Yakut Street.

From Sabiha Gökçen Airport

Take Sabiha Gökçen Havaalanı, Havaalanı Kvş and Havaalanı Girişi-K4 to the E80. Follow the E80 to the O1-O2 Çamlıca Bağlantısı Yanyolu connection and exit it at the Kozyatagi O2 connection. Turn left onto Halk Street and then left onto Karaman Street. Turn right on Meric Street and then right from Meric Street onto Yakut Street.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Asia is conveniently and centrally located in the Atasehir business district, an important destination for trade and enterprise on the Asian or Anatolian side of the city of Istanbul. The hotel is accessible from not only one, but also two large air travel hubs: Sabiha Gökçen Airport (25 kilometres away on the Anatolian side of Istanbul) and Atatürk International Airport (51 kilometres away on the European side of Istanbul). While enjoying their stay, guests can visit the popular Atasehir shopping district and one of several malls: the Palladium, the Optimum or the Brandium as well as chique Bagdat Street, only six kilometers away in Kadikoy. Additionally, from Atasehir, there is easy access to the European side with its many boutique shopping areas and magnificent historical sites by bus over one of the two bridges that span the Bosphorus Strait connecting the European and Asian continents, by ferry or by metro under the strait via the Marmaray line from Kadikoy.

From the hotel to Taksim

The hotel's location in Istanbul,Turkey not only allows easy connection to points of interest on the Asian side, but also on the European side. The Taksim area and its square are considered the heart of modern Istanbul and therefore, are accessible by an elaborate bus and subway system from various positions around the city including the Asian side and Atasehir. Many restaurants and shops can be found on and around Istiklal Street, possibly one the Taksim area’s busiest and most popular streets. Near Taksim Square is Beyoglu, another part of the old city and home to the Galata Tower. From Taksim, there is easy public transportation to Sultanhammet and Istanbul’s ancient city.

The official language of the workshop is English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided.

Casual attire or scrubs are recommended for the educational sessions. Disposable gowns, masks and shoe covers will be available at the clinic. Suggested attire for the Welcome Cocktail Reception is business casual and for the Gala Dinner, dressy/formal.

Registration fees are refundable upon written notice to the workshop registrar on or before May 26, 2015. An administrative fee of 100,00 EURO will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations or lack of attendance without written notification of are non-reimbursable. Attendees are personally responsible for the timely transmission of written cancellations to the registrar and receipt must be verified. "No shows" that have not pre-paid will be invoiced for the total registration fee.

Video, audio recording and photography are prohibited during the workshop educational sessions and violators will be dismissed from the meeting. Photos and videos taken by workshop hosts for the purpose of use are exempt from this policy.

The use of cellular phones and pagers during the educational sessions is strictly prohibited. Attendees must either turn off their cellular phones and pagers or set them to vibrate only.

Faculty, topics, and schedules are subject to change without prior notification and changes will not be considered valid reasons for refunds.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

This activity is not sanctioned for CME credit. A certificate of attendance suitable for framing will be issued to attendees.
